Intro to Guardianship of Minors

Are you an attorney or law student who wants to know more about guardianship of minor cases? This training is for you!

This nuts and bolts training will give participants the tools they need to handle simple guardianship of minor cases from the filing of the petition through the establishment of a permanent guardianship. Our clients are often grandparents and other relatives of children whose parents are unavailable to care for them. The training will cover how to complete the petition and accompanying pleadings, waive fees and costs, provide notice, and present your case at a hearing.
