At VLP, experienced attorneys provide mentorship to new attorneys by providing practical guidance throughout their volunteer cases. Mentoring is an opportunity for seasoned attorneys to be a source of knowledge and provide support to newer attorneys who are beginning their legal careers.
Candidates interested in mentoring with VLP should have at least five years of practical experience in one of the following areas of law: family, wills, guardianship, landlord-tenant, consumer debt, unemployment insurance, bankruptcy, or employment.
