Rafael joined VLP as a Bilingual Intake Specialist. He graduated from the College of Charleston with a Bachelor’s degree in Women’s and Gender Studies.  Rafael has experience working with underserved communities, assisting individuals to overcome health barriers.  He has a strong passion for LGBTQIA+ rights, particularly trans youth rights.
