Unemployment Virtual Training

This training is designed for pro bono attorneys who are seeking to represent clients seeking unemployment benefits. This training will cover the basics of unemployment law, including eligibility for unemployment benefits, a description of the process of applying, and how to represent clients at administrative hearings. After participating in this training, attorneys will be able to represent VLP clients at unemployment hearings. This training is open to attorneys of all experience levels. Please note that we do not have volunteer opportunities available in this unit for students & non-attorneys at this time.
