December 14, 2021 1:00 pm 2:00 pm

However, the impact of the pandemic and now the return to a “new normal” has created feelings of helplessness, confusion, and emotional distress among the entire population, and law professionals are not exempt from these stressors. As a profession, lawyers and legal professionals are even more vulnerable to mental health and substance abuse difficulties than the general population due to the challenging nature of their work, and these preexisting issues are exacerbated during these extraordinary times.
